Digicode S-192

Category:
  • Hi-resolution digital to analog converter with 5 digital selectable inputs
  • USB @ 192 kHz 24 bit
  • Full real balanced analog output

The new Digicode S-192 digital tube D to A converter is based on R2R the hi performances dac from BB PCM1704 ( 4 dac rare dac components we have some stock ) high-resolution dac, output circuits is design around vacuum tube type miniwatt as ECC-81/12AT7.

Balanced analog output circuit as real design with four dac and four analog stages.

Digital signals are accepted up to 192 kHz 24-bit on all inputs asyncronuous USB input too support ASIO.

The Digicode S-192 is also equipped with word clock input and digital spdif output for general purpose application.

Proprietary input digital circuit for spdif reconstruction all develop in Lector audio lab’s: spdif circuit reconstruction ( S.C.R. by Lector strumenti audio, patent pending)

The display indicator supply right information about the real sampling frequency to the dac input four digit display do not cut all the information.

The proprietary reclocking circuit on the SPDiF inputs is ultra-stable double clock even on the USB input it is implemented so that it is perfectly stable and precise regardless of the digital input signal.

The digital filter served by an ultra-precision clock circuit (full wave reclock circuit, patent pending) is programmable in the selection via internal selectors for 4 x or 8 x oversampling and in the depth of the HI-TAPS and LOW-TAPS digital filtration so it is possible to intervene on the timbre of the sound.

The high-resolution asynchronous USB input uses an original single-conversion digital circuit so as to interface directly with serial connection directly to the digital filter so as to avoid double digital conversion and obtain immeasurable jitter values.

The Digicode can be configured with real balanced outputs (4 dac and 4 valve stages) through the parallel kit. It can also be configured in full unbalanced dual so as to use the 4 dac in parallel mode or two dac for each channel divided into 2 chips for the Right channel and 2 chips for the Left channel.

The firmware of the USB-I2S processor is proprietary and has been optimized for perfect interfacing with the BB-1704K.

The display indicates the actual frequency processed by the D-A converters.

The digital input signals are switched by the button selector with led indication of the selected signal.
