Several original mechanical solutions are adopted such as the proprietary laser reading mechanism (made internally by the Lector factory) and the specially made brass pillar suspension system.
Separate power supply with independent sections and AC power switch (digital/analog) and three high flow toroidal transformers.
Exclusive CD disc blocker with two-axis stabilization effect thanks to a special neodymium magnet.
Sophisticated selection of dual mono PCM-1704 BB 24-bit DACs with independent PCB board for real jitter reduction.
No type of feedback neither total nor local controls the analog stage: an original circuit design manages the gain of the first valve stage (direct coupling with cathode).
A passive dithering circuit increases the actual resolution of the bits near the 24-bit threshold (Lector invented this original circuit design).

The power supply circuit employs 14 stages of regulation with a single capacitor on the signal path made to measure in film & foil chassis made of special die-cast aluminum material of aerospace derivation. The output triode circuit is in class A with only a first-order passive filter so without unwanted rotary signal phases.
The CD mechanism has two different mechanical damping solutions:
– the first through a special neoprene rubber damping
– the second via latex-rum a solution similar to that adopted in analog turntables.
An original magnetic locking system provides greater stability to the rotation of the CD disc obtaining a double stabilization on the horizontal and vertical axes.
