As one of Asia’s most influential high-end audio events, this year’s exhibition was once again held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Richcoln carefully set up a top-tier music demonstration system in Meeting Room S427 on the 4th floor. The spacious room provided ample conditions to fully unleash the potential of this luxurious audio combination.

For the vinyl playback chain, the system featured the P1 phono stage from the Swiss high-end brand CH Precision – which Richcoln recently announced as its new domestic distributor – paired with the latest SME Model 35 turntable for live demonstrations. The P1 phono stage adopts a dual-mono pure Class‑A amplification topology, offering two dedicated MC current inputs and one MM/MC voltage input, enabling optimal matching and signal amplification for various cartridge types. Its exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and transparent, natural tonal reproduction ensure the highest quality retrieval of vinyl signals.

On the digital source side, the CH Precision D1.5 SACD player was used for playing music discs. This configurable SACD/CD player supports multiple disc formats including SACD, CD, CD‑R, and CD‑RW, and, combined with CH Precision’s proprietary PEtER filtering algorithm, delivers reference‑grade music playback performance.

For amplification and loudspeaker duties, signals from the CH Precision sources were fed to the German high‑end brand Burmester’s Reference Line 077 preamplifier and a pair of 909 MK5 power amplifiers operating in bridged mode, driving the BC150 large 3‑way floor‑standing loudspeakers. The 077 preamplifier is renowned for its precise signal processing and musicality; the 909 MK5 power amplifiers, with their very high damping factor and formidable current delivery, effortlessly drive even the most demanding loudspeakers. As Burmester’s second‑from‑flagship model, the BC150 inherits the design language and core technologies of the flagship BC350, featuring an air‑motion transformer tweeter, a 180mm midrange driver, and 320mm bass drivers – with side‑firing large‑diameter woofers that provide powerful and deep low frequencies. The entire system was wired with Siltech Crown series cables.

This ultimate system, combining Swiss precision with German craftsmanship, drew large crowds of audiophiles to its three daily scheduled music demonstration sessions, captivating them with its extraordinary sonic performance.

At the Richcoln main booth F01 in Hall 3, the most prominent front position showcased the full range of CH Precision’s flagship 10 Series products, including: the D10 Reference Transport SACD transport, C10 Reference DAC, L10 Reference Line preamplifier, and M10 Reference Power Amplifier monoblock power amplifiers.
