The brand’s longest-running model, the BB5, was also present, alongside Burmester Electronics, for a music demonstration. The BB5 SE, still going strong, delivered convincing sound performance. While not a new model, years of continuous improvement have cemented its irreplaceable and prestigious position within the PMC lineup.

Driven by Burmester Reference Line equipment, the BB5 SE delivered an incredible sound in the S427 room, with an exceptionally open and spacious soundstage, and tight yet impactful bass, as powerful as a car engine. Clearly, the BB5 SE’s cabinet is a bit large for a typical home room, but fortunately, the MB2 SE, with its moderate size, performs equally well.
