The 2025 Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show concluded last Sunday. This year’s event was bustling with activity and exhibitors showcased their products with meticulous attention to detail, creating a diverse and appealing audio experience. Our booth, F01, prominently located on the third floor entrance, was also beautifully arranged. The first thing that caught the eye was our flagship Burmester unit, featuring three of the brand’s latest 232 multi-functional flagship integrated amplifiers and three B-series floorstanding speakers.

The 232 integrated amplifier is the latest addition to Burmester’s classic series. This product offers high flexibility, advanced connectivity, and high fidelity, while integrating cutting-edge features and maintaining Burmester’s signature sound quality. The Burmester 232 integrated amplifier features a modular architecture, allowing users to configure it to their needs. Two optional modules further enhance its functionality: a DAC module for high-definition digital playback and a phono stage module optimized for dynamic (MC) phono cartridges. This amplifier also supports Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay, and plans to add Roon Ready functionality, USB playback, and internet radio search wirelessly. It also features three USB ports and an HDMI ARC port for seamless integration with a variety of digital source devices. A standout feature of the Burmester 232 integrated amplifier is the HaptiControl knob, a multi-functional control element that provides precise adaptive feedback. The amplifier’s mirrored glass HD display blends seamlessly with the design in standby mode while maintaining excellent readability.

Burmester introduced a new radial heatsink design in the 232, improving heat dissipation and ensuring optimal transistor performance. This reduces internal temperatures, extends component lifespan, and ensures stable audio performance, preventing overheating issues. User-friendly control via the BURMESTER CONDUCT app

The Burmester Conduct app (available for iOS and Android) allows users to intuitively control various functions of the amplifier, including volume adjustment, source switching, and input modification. Users can also operate the 232 via the touchscreen and remote control.

Regarding body colors, the 232 has also become more diverse. In addition to the standard silver and black, custom-made Madeiragold and Mambagreen Porsche-specific colors were also showcased. Burmester has been actively promoting customization in recent years, allowing customers to have their favorite patterns or colors made by the factory, resulting in unique, artistic audio products that highlight the user’s special status and refined taste.

In addition to showcasing three 232, B38, B28, and B18 floorstanding speakers on the front of F01, a large audio system highly sought after by audiophiles (111 Musiccenter, 069 CD, 077 preamplifier, a pair of 909 MK5 power amps, and BC150 second-flagship floorstanding speakers) was displayed on the back. A music demonstration was given on site, and the melodious music and exquisite sound attracted many visitors to stop and listen.
