Richcoln x Hiendy classic vinyl music sharing event

Date: 2014-03-14

The revive of vinyl nowadays has caught Richcoln’s attention and as a leader in the HiFi industry, we are glad to have products to play with such as the German made Acoustic Signature turntable and Soundsmith cartridge.   We were glad to be invited by Hiendy, an online HiEnd HiFi forum, to share our precious set of turntable equipment together with our PMC FACT 12, Bryston 28BSST2, Burmester 088 preampliflier, Burmester 911 MK3 Power Amplifier.

The event was held on the 8th March, 2014 in 5/F, Siu On Centre, 188 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.  Due to the large amount of applications to the vinyl event, we ended up holding 2 sessions with more than 70 fans.  We received great appreciation from all of the fans and they all left with good spirit.

The selling point of Acoustic Signature’s turntable is all about the Tidorfolon.  As quotation from HiFi Choice, “Acoustic Signature has used sintered bronze inserts that have been infused with lubricant in the bearing housing, so that you don’t need to add oil which is a boon if you have to repack the deck at any time. The thrust pad that supports the spindle is made of Tidorfolon, a material that Acoustic Signature developed specifically for the purpose. An alloy of vanadium, ferrite, Teflon and titanium, Tidorfolon is a relatively soft material which mates with a hard tungsten carbide ball at the tip of the bearing shaft or axle.”
